Anti-trafficking

The Conference of Religious has collaboratively initiated a project to counter the work of ‘sex traffickers’ in exploiting vulnerable people and children in the sex industry.

This exploitation has been described as the worst form of modern day ‘slavery’ and a group known as the the ‘Medaille Trust’ has been set up.

Medaille Trust

Medaille Trust

The work of the Medaille Trust is the empowerment of women, young men and children, who have been freed from the sex-trafficking industry here in the UK, enabling them to regain their dignity and self-worth.

We do this by providing safe housing and offering opportunities for physical and psychological healing and rehabilitation. We raise awareness of the plight of those who are enslaved and exploited in the sex-trafficking industry in the UK and campaign on this issue.

If you would like to help/donate to this work, contact ‘The Medaille Trust’:
