Formation

The Conference of Religious has set up a ‘Think Tank’ whose members are experienced practitioners in the area of Formation for the Religious Life. They are the signposts for developments in formation and provide important contacts with other formators and organizations in this field.

The organisation presently dealing with enquiries for the Religious Life on behalf of CoR is COMPASS, this organisation acts as a clearing house for enquiries about Religious Life in England and Wales. For more information about COMPASS click here.

Courses are also available at Hawkstone Hall, St Anselm's and St Luke's. They can be contacted as below:

CoR also works closely with the National Office for Vocation (NOV), who can be contacted at enquiries@ukvocation.org or on 020 8458 6017.

MA in Christian Spirituality at Heythrop College

The MA in Christian Spirituality at Heythrop College, University of London, offers an opportunity to deepen one’s understanding of some of the major traditions of Christian spirituality – Franciscan, Carmelite, Ignatian, Mystical, English – as well as to reflect on spiritual growth, personal transformation, the theory of spiritual direction, and on the place and forms of spirituality in society today. Teaching is by small, weekly seminars and personal tutorial help is given with essays and dissertations. Some places remain available for this September 2010. Please find further details about the programme on the Heythrop College website: www.heythrop.ac.uk.
